Hi!Me and my husband are celebrating today our 12th anniversary.
So today I want to share with you a prayer for married couples as I pray with a thankful heart for our marriage:
Dear heavenly Father,
thank you for the gift of love and
the blessings of our marriage.
We give you praise for the joy
you pour into our hearts.
We need your strength daily.
Unite us in a band of friendship,
commitment and understanding.
Let us always support to one another.
Help us to make time to us alone
to nurture our marriage.
May our love for each other
grow stronger every day and
may our lives together
bring glory to you.

Do you like to read magazines?I do!But I think it can often happen that when we look at fashion magazines we can start to feel depressed shortly afterward. Why?Because we feel that we are not like the models but full of imperfection.Those women in the magazines look just perfect, so beautiful.But guess what?The women in those photos aren't perfect either! Behind those photos there a lot of great work:make-up,hair dressers,stylists and then photoshop to get rid of all the imperfections...to create an illusion!And secondly you maybe have heard that these young women are not really happy in their lives...They pay a high price to look the way designers want them to look and as it is way too difficult these girls are using drugs or dealing with a serious eating disorder.
But guess what?God says:
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your
works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Psalm 139:14
God has declared that we are marvelous…beautiful!No matter the shape of your eyes, the size of your nose, the color of your skin, the texture of your hair, or the smoothness of your skin…YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
Do you believe this?Do you think that you are beautiful and wonderfully made?
If you have some difficulties to believe it look in the mirror and shout:
I AM BEAUTIFUL!

It’s that time of year again;children are back to school!
I think it's important to pray over our children as they start their new school year.
Dear heavenly Father I pray that you would be with every child that is returning back to school this year.I ask that you would bless all these little learners.Give them the strength to learn and concentrate, give wisdom as they listen to lectures and complete homework.Help them act in love towards their teachers and fellow students.Keep them safe from dangers seen and unseen and protect them on their way going to school and back home.
Be with our children’s teachers this year. Help them to teach in ways that each student can understand.
And Lord, help us as parents to be supportive of our children this year.
I pray in Jesus name.Amen.

And it is quite true: even if you are angry, sad, disappointed, worried, or whatever your mood is,
when you start to sing a new song to God you can be sure that you will feel better
and you can sense that God cares for you!
