Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in America today.I live in Italy and here we don't celetrate it but I love the idea to have a special day to think about all the things we can be thankful for.
God is good all the time and there are so many things for which we can give thanks.
The priority of His presence begins with thankfulness...
He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles.
Job 5:9
I thank You for answering my prayer and giving me victory!
Psalm 118:21
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.
Let the whole world know what he has done.
Let the whole world know what he has done.
1 Chronicles 16:8
So be thankful and give thanks! Not only today but every day!

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
Psalm 139:14
Every part of you was carefully, fearfully and wonderfully crafted by God.
And He made you UNIQUE! No one can take your place!
"Da Vinci painted one Mona Lisa. Beethoven composed one Fifth Symphony. And God made one version of you."
Max Lucado
And you know what, it's really liberating to think that you don't have to compare yourself with others because if God wanted you to have their gifts He would have given them to you.
So just remember:
YOU ARE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE!

Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Luke 12:7
Have you ever think about that God really knows how many hairs you have in your head?!Isn't that quite amazing!
He keeps track of sparrows, and He has no problem keeping track of you!
HE KNOWS ALL ABOUT YOU!
God takes good care of His creation, and
He is well able to take good care of you.
So don't be afraid!
God says to his children:
Are you lonesome?
Breathe out my name.
COME TO ME and
I will be your friend.
Are you sick?
COME TO ME FOR HEALING.
Are you left out of things?
Feeling rejected and pushed aside?
COME HOME TO ME.
Alice Chapin
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30
God has not promised skies always blue,
flower-strewn pathways all our lives thorough;
God has not promised sun without rain,
joy without sorrow,peace without pain.
But God has promised strength for the day,
rest for the labor, light for the way,
grace for the trials, help from above,
unfailing sympathy,undying love.
