Please remember that when discouragement comes reject it and do like David did.
He encouraged himself in the Lord. So take some time and talk to God-tell him about your problems.And then talk to yourself!Say aloud the promises God has
made for you!

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. 
I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance.
-John 10:10 

 
God wants you to enjoy your life every day and you can do it no matter how your
circumstances are. So rejoice and enjoy your life and live it passionately!
Make a list of all your blessings and discover your passions by looking back 
over your life for those moments where you've had "Yes!" experiences. String those
together, and you'll begin to see new possibilities for your life.

"Today I will make a difference. I will begin by controlling my thoughts. A person is the product of his thoughts. I want to be happy and hopeful. Therefore, I will have thoughts that are happy and hopeful. I refuse to be victimized by my circumstances. It's nearly a month that I have been posting about how to encourage yourself
and today I'll encourage you to be an encourager. Why?Because there is nothing
better than making someone else happy!
And as you are not focused on your own problems you will notice that you will
now longer feel discouraged.

But encourage each other every day while it is “today.” 
-Hebrews 3:13

When we have the opportunity to help anyone, we should do it. But we should give special attention to those who are in the family of believers. 
-Galatians 6:10 
So be committed to encourage others daily!Show them that you care about them!
Encouragement is the power that can affect the lives of people around you!

God always wants to bless you but and if you want to live a blessed life, the key is to 
observe to do according to all that is written in the Bible.

And it's important to understand that the purpose of God's blessing in to enable you
to be a great channel to bless others.

I keep my confidence in Christ...
But what is confidence?
Wikipedia describes confidence like this:
"Confidence is generally described as a state of being certain either that a hypothesis or prediction is correct or that a chosen course of action is the best or most effective"
So I could say that confidence is all about being positive concerning what you can do and not worrying over what you can't do.
A confident person do not concentrate on her weaknesses and yet she is open to learning.
But...the important thing is to have our confidence in God...not in ourselves,not in other people or in some system.

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
-Hebrews 10:35-36 
  
But you may have already noticed that life will try to steal your confidence in God. Things happen that you never dream.The enemy may have attacked your circumstances but actually he is after your confidence. But the good news is that  your circumstance is not your confidence and if you keep your confidence in God He will work you through the circumstances.

Christ-centered confidence doesn’t start with us. It starts with God and having the correct assessment of what He can do through us.
God is at work for you. He is for you. 
When we have confidence in God we can live confidently and enjoy the life that 
God wants for us.
Keep your  confidence in Him!

There are so many demands how we should be...yet everyone of us is unique...

We all sometimes get really discouraged and think that we can not do 
something we should do...It can be whatever:mow the lawn, clean the house,
exercise, eat in a healthy way, be friendly to people who are not nice to you...
But  God has given us a spirit of self-control so we can actually choose what
we think about any situation.

Discipline is required any time you are forming a new habit...so it may not be always easy,but it's good to remember that self-control is a freedom, not a bondage.And we are not alone!We can ask God to help us to be self-controlled.We can ask God to strengthen our minds and thoughts! I know that there are days when the will of God seems completely wrong,
but  choose to trust the Plan Maker even though your faith is small.
Because:

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope .

God's plans are always for our good. His plans are always to prosper us and give us a hope and a future.

We know...but there are so many things we don't know.
But the thing is:
You may never know why or how, but you can always know
who is faithful!
God works-in all things for the good of those who love Him!

God is looking and longing for someone who’s waiting for Him to be good to them. God wants to be good to you, but you have to be expecting Him to move in your life. 

And in the moments of discouragement you need to believe God's promises and not
your own feelings or thoughts.Think about all the works God has already done in your life.
You can make even a list and this helps you to see how many things
He has already done in your life. In this way you can have more faith to trust God
and expect something good to happen to you.

To be thankful;to have a thankful heart is a very important thing!
Paul said in Philippians 4:1:
I have learned how to be  content in whatever state I am.
And that should be also our daily motto,because
gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
 
So we should every day spend a moment and think about things for which we are
thankful for.
And the great thing would be to think about not only the obvious things, but spend some time thanking God for the things you don’t think about.
These are things we take for granted or the hidden blessings that aren’t as obvious...
 For example you could be thankful for that you woke up today or for all the things that went right todayor you could be even thankful for having hot water for your shower or
that there isn’t a second where God’s presence doesn’t surround you!

SO BE THANKFUL!
And as you do so You’ll have a whole new appreciation for God’s constant grace 
and hand of favor in your life.

Sometimes we'll have a bad day just by waking up in a wrong mood and it's
easy to stay grouchy the whole day.
Other days instead there can be other people who can steal our joy.
Some angry and unhappy people can totally change our moods if let them to do it and sometimes
it seems the right way to go...we let others steal our joy because of how they behave.
But could we really be joyful when other people we are around are angry and unhappy? 
Yes it's possible.Again it's a choice we can make.
We can let it go. We can decide to stay calm and not loose our joy.
In John 15:11 it is written:

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

So it's very important for us to see joy for what it is: 
a result of a relationship with God, 
and not something dependent on life’s
circumstances or other people. 
So today I want to encourage you to not
 become codependent of someone else's behavior.
Let it go!
You will show me the way of life. 
Being with You is to be full of joy. 
In Your right hand there is happiness forever.
-Psalm 16:11 
'Cause the joy of the Lord is real
And they're never gonna steal my joy.

When you are angry, do not sin, and be sure to stop being angry before the end of the day.

This Bible verse tells us to be quick to forgive!
If we stay angry we open a door for devil to work in our lives.
And if we get easily offended and touchy we might just feel insecure.
We can live our lives by focusing on our emotions or on God's truth.

Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ.
-Ephesians 4:32

Forgiveness is not about saying that what a person did is okay or that they're right. 
It's about making a decision, a choice to let the hurt and anger go.
 It frees you up to move on.

 

So today encourage yourself by saying:
I AM QUICK TO FORGIVE AND DIFFICULT TO OFFEND.

In the Bible it's written in Romans 12:2:

instead be changed within by a new way of thinking. 
Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. 

So this means that we can reprogram our minds and this can be done by reading the Word of God.
And as we are filled by His word it's easier to have positive thoughts and see and remember
God's goodness.
Because yes God is good-always!So why couldn't I be positive about my life?! :)
