Ask, and you will receive!

 

Until now you have asked nothing in my name. 

Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

                                                                                — John 16:24 

 

 

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.  

 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

Ask boldly with the right motives!

(Or when you ask, you do not receive because the reason you ask is wrong. 

You want things so you can use them for your own pleasures. -James 4:3)

 

I want whatever God wants to give me spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically, socially, and mentally. I pray boldly, but I don’t do it because I think I’m worthy. I know that I have faults, but I also know that God loves me, and my confidence is not in myself—it’s in Him.
