"Where comparison begins, contentment ends."

I love to listen a podcast while I walk outside and enjoy a beautiful spring day...and the other day I listened to a really great sermon from pastor Craig Groeschel called
"Overcoming the Curse of Comparing". (click here to watch this sermon)
Such a great teaching! And so important because comparing  has never been easier in the history of the world than it's today because of the social media. It's so easy to look for example someone's photo on Instagram and immediately start to compare it to something else....
But  "Where comparison begins, contentment ends..."
... But they are only comparing themselves with each other, using themselves as the standard of measurement. How ignorant!
-2 Corinthians 10:12 NLT

But the thing is that "the fastest way to kill something special is to compare it to something else."

Comparing makes you feel either superior or inferior
—neither honors God.
-Craig Groeschel

AND OFTEN THE PROBLEM IS:

"When you compare yourself to others or wish you were like someone else, it’s like saying God didn’t do a good job creating you. But God didn’t make anyone inferior or second class."
-Craig Groeschel

SO REMEMBER:

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus,
so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
- Ephesians 2:10 NLT

YOU ARE UNIQUE. AND LOVED. AND BLESSED.
